The name of the organisation is Rigorous Ultimate Survival Haven (R.U.S.H) Incorporated, also known as R.U.S.H. Haven Inc.
The organisation is a non-profit charitable organisation based in the Hunter Valley Region of NSW.
R.U.S.H. was founded and incorporated in 1998 by past president Peter Kell. R.U.S.H was given an Authority to Fundraise under the Charitable Fundraising Act in 2001 and also received charity PBI status in 2000.
We are currently an unfunded body, managed by a mostly volunteer community based committee, many of whom have given freely their time to attend programs with young people. Since we have been operating, over 300 young people have participated in our programs. It is our intention to greatly increase programs and participation including now established ventures like Dolphin Assisted Therapy and condensing our base to focus on three key and proven programs.
Past funding has been a mix of state & federal program grants and many programs sponsored by Peter Kell from local company Youth Directions. Recently we had our first highly successful corporate dinner organised by AJ’s Studio, these strategic partnerships are essential for our profile and awareness of the programs and purpose of R.U.S.H and are our future focus.
Our focus is to build quality events with strategic network partnerships and philanthropic funding for our innovative, professional programs.
R.U.S.H is actively seeking corporate partners and is committed to promoting our partnerships as well as our programs.
