R.U.S.H. Haven Inc currently operates on a tight budget. Having just completed a successful fundraising event we have a small amount of current funding for 2005. We intend to fully utilise our resources by upgrading our website, creating strategic network partnerships, new annual events and funding proposals whist continuing to work on our foundation programs.
Our dedicated team, largely volunteers, have been working without adequate funds for many years and in that time still managing to provide programs for over 380 young people. We know how to work efficiently and with a minimum of waste.
Funding support, corporate and community sponsorship will mean that
- We can work on early intervention. Our passion is for working with young people.
- We can undertake follow up work with young people, which will magnify the effects of our programs.
- We can make a commitment to some young people for a series of programs, working towards the development of leadership, healing and program outcomes.
- We can begin working with communities, passing on our knowledge and skills.
- We can continue to develop our programs and partnerships.
- We can employ staff, set up an office and give a 110% commitment to improving and helping young people in need
- We can raise our profile within our community and make R.U.S.H self-sufficient, and self perpetuating.
